Magnolia Creek Talent Show

Talent Show at Mag Creek!

The clients put on a talent show for everyone yesterday and it was fantastic! Some clients wrote poems, raps, and songs. Others showed us how to make salt dough ornaments or how to doa back bend. We had so much fun expressing ourselves and we wanted to share this with y’all!

Excerpt from “Twas the Night Before Christmas at Magnolia Creek”

While visions of the day danced in their heads;
Nina in her fancy shoes
Maggie, “What does that bring up for you?”

When riding out in the Creek van
There arose such a clatter
Val sprang up from her seat
“What’s the matter?”

Away to the window she flew with a flash
Signal Shannon she said with a dash

With a fine “No” as she often said
“Let’s hear an amen” as Shannon fled

The group room with sleepy heads
Leslie says, “Get off the couch,
We are here to process, not to slouch.”

When what to my wondering eye should appear
But Jamie and Jessica with a sneer

With a little sweet driver so lovely and quick,
Ann Marie can’t find Dairy Queen
– What a fit

We’ll keep posting more pieces by clients and staff to share with you all, so keep checking back for more!
