Susie earned her degree in nursing from Samford University in 1984. Before coming to Magnolia Creek, she held positions as Primary Care Nurse and Case Manager for several medical centers, including New Beacon Hospice, Reciprocal of America, and the Shelby Baptist Medical Center's Occupational Medicine Clinic. Her experience also includes working as a Nurse Counselor for Bradford Adolescent Facility, working with adolescents receiving treatment for substance abuse.

In addition to her nursing and management duties, Susie enjoys educating our clients about taking care of their health and helps lead the Health and Wellness group each week. She is known for her calming presence and readiness to lend a sympathetic ear and shoulder to lean upon.
