As Chief Operating Officer, Linda Smith focuses on ensuring treatment that restores hope, health, and happiness. She currently oversees all of Magnolia Creek’s administrative, operational and clinical services, all while spearheading the development, communication, and implementation of effective and efficient treatment outcomes and strategies.
Prior to joining Magnolia Creek, Linda served as an Electronic Interchange Consultant for Comprehensive Radiology Groups throughout the state. She also worked with one of the leading facilities in addiction, Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services located in Hattiesburg, MS. She has extensive experience in inpatient, outpatient, residential and partial hospitalization treatment, and is well versed in eating disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, substance abuse, and love and sex addiction.
Linda is a graduate of Alcorn State University, Mississippi State University, The University of Southern Mississippi and is currently working on a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Counseling. Linda also brings a wealth of experience in insurance billing, denial management, insurance coordinating, outreach, and marketing. Linda serves on several committees for Southeastern Eating Disorders, International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, and the National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders. She brings interventionist skills as she is certified by Certified Interventionist Professional, and she actively advocates for suicide prevention as a member of the Alabama Suicide Prevention and Resource Coalition.
As Executive Director at Magnolia Creek, Linda’s greatest job is witnessing the wonderful transformation that happens when women begin to discover who they are and who they want to become. Linda also loves spending time with her family and supporting Ole Miss Football. “Hotty Toddy”!
