Schedule a Phone Intake
Our Intake Coordinator or another Magnolia Creek staff member will schedule a phone intake to gather initial information and to determine if Magnolia Creek is the appropriate program for you. The Phone Intake takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour and will assess your medical, psychiatric, and nutritional information. With your permission, family members, referring clinicians and physicians may be consulted to obtain additional information.
Schedule an Admission
After determining that Magnolia Creek is the right program for you, our Intake Coordinator will work with you to obtain the necessary medical clearance and related lab work for you to schedule an admission date.
If our beds are currently full, you may submit a deposit to reserve a spot on our waiting list. Our staff will continue to check in with you while on our waiting list to keep you updated on your status.
Insurance Coverage
If your insurance company is to be involved in your stay at Magnolia Creek, our staff can check eligibility and benefits as a courtesy to you. If your insurance company states that you are eligible for coverage, our staff will do what we can to help with the insurance process, including obtaining pre-certification, conducting concurrent reviews, and working out single case agreements. Please understand that insurance policies and benefits do vary greatly and that verification of benefits is not always a guarantee of payment for your stay.
If your insurance benefits do not adequately provide for appropriate treatment, don't give up. The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) website has a Survival Guide that addresses insurance issues and contains tips for fighting for insurance coverage and using the appeals process.
