Admissions Process

Bridge with trees

Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders treats adult women, 18 years and older, who have been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, or EDNOS (eating disorder not otherwise specified). Our program is designed to also treat secondary, coexisting disorders, including compulsive exercise, anxiety, depression, self-harm, addiction issues and trauma.

Clients must be medically stable prior to admission. Treatment at Magnolia Creek is entirely voluntary.

Contact Magnolia Creek

Call us at 1-888-7MAGNOLIA to speak with a Magnolia Creek staff member who will help answer your questions and familiarize you with our treatment programs. You may also use our online contact form or complete our confidential, online intake form.

Schedule a Phone Intake Interview

A member of our intake staff will schedule a phone intake interview to learn more about you and help determine which of Magnolia Creek's programs will be the best fit for you. The intake session takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour and gathers information about your background, medical and psychiatric history, as well as your expectiations for treatment. If your permit us to speak with them, we may consult family members, referring clinicians and physicians to obtain additional information.

Schedule an Admission Date

Once we have determined most appropriate treatment option for you, our intake staff will work with you to obtain the necessary medical clearance and related lab work for you to schedule an admission date. If insurance is involved, our staff can check eligibility and benefits as a courtesy to you.

If all our spaces are currently full, you may submit a deposit to reserve a spot on our waiting list. Our staff will continue to check in with you while on our waiting list to keep you updated on your status.

Preparing for Admission Day

Magnolia Creek requires a medical clearance form to be completed by your physician before (preferably a week) your admission day. This is to ensure that you are medically stable enough to participate in treatment.
