Magnolia Creek Residential Treatment Center is currently accepting applications for the following positions.
Nutrition and Wellness Specialist - Full-time
The Nutrition & Wellness Specialist is responsible for preparing the weekday meals and providing personal training for Magnolia Creek residents. Duties include: working closely with the Dietitian to plan menus, purchasing food items, stocking the kitchen, and accompanying residents on meal outings. S/he is also responsible for leading personal training sessions with each resident, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
Candidates must have experience in food preparation and cooking for large groups of people. Preference will be given towards candidates with experience in nutrition, wellness, and personal training.
Licensed Practical Nurses - Night-Shift, Part-time, PRN
LPN's assist RN's in executing the medical care plan (based on physician/DON orders) for each resident. Duties include: taking vital signs, recording physical complaints, reviewing laboratory reports, performing physical assessments, obtaining subjective reports of health alteration, and relaying information to and from the doctors, other staff and any outside health care providers. When appropriate, nursing staff also dispense medications, monitoring effects.
Registered Nurses - Part-time, Full-time and PRN
RN's execute the medical care plan (based on physician/DON orders) for each resident. Duties include: taking vital signs, recording physical complaints, drawing venipunctures, reviewing laboratory reports, performing physical assessments, obtaining subjective reports of health alteration, and relaying information to and from the doctors, other staff and any outside health care providers. When appropriate, nursing staff also dispense medications, monitoring effects. RN's work closely with the counselors to provide social and emotional support for residents at Magnolia Creek, including leading a weekly Health and Wellness group.
Staff Counselors - Night-shift, Part-time, PRN
Staff counselors spend the majority of their time working with residents, promoting their involvement in the program. They assist staff in various clinical, nutritional, and administrative activities. Duties include: supervising specific program activities, assisting with meal preparation and/or meal outings, charting observations, and providing support.
