The Alabama Counseling Association's (ALCA) winter quarter newsletter features an article written by clinical director, Dr. Mary Bartlett. Titled, "Department of Defense Initiatives Grow to Support Military Families," the article focuses on DoD's efforts to conduct mental health research and provide programs to support military families, as well as civilian communities affiliated with the military population.
In addition, ALCA has recognized Dr. Bartlett as a recipient of their award for "Chapter/Division Outstanding Member" for her outstanding contribution to the counseling profession. Dr. Bartlet is also listed in the newsletter as a mentor for several graduate students who presented at the ALCA Annual Conference.
