Magnolia Creek is collaborating on a research study with international suicide expert, Dr. Thomas Joiner, Jr., Ph.D., and his Florida State Research Lab on factors associated with eating disorders, suicide, and self harm behaviors.

Dr. Tracy Witte & Auburn University
Magnolia Creek has formed a collaborative relationship with Dr. Tracy Witte, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor the Clinical Psychology program at Auburn University. Dr. Witte and her research team are interested in investigating personality characteristics that confer risk for suicidal behavior in individuals with eating disorders. Additionally, Dr. Witte and her team are interested in investigating eating habits that may serve as precursors to the development of eating disorders.
Dr. Witte has co-authored a book, The Interpersonal Theory of Suicide, that provides guidance for working with suicidal clients.
