Maggie Klyce, LGSW
Maggie Klyce received her Master’s Degree from the University of Alabama. She is a member of the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals and will be serving on the inaugural board in 2017 for the Alabama Chapter. She has presented on topics including the treatment of individuals with co-morbid eating disorder and substance use disorders as well as on the identification and prevention of eating disorders. She is pursuing her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist designation. Maggie previously worked as a therapist at a residential treatment facility specializing in addiction. She is an EMDR trained therapist and strives to help clients overcome trauma and negative core beliefs that have bound them to their disorder. She utilizes other modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and body centered approaches. Maggie believes recovery is more than symptom remission and strives to help her clients reconnect to a life filled with meaning and purpose.
